We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your personal information. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest on enterprise-grade infrastructure.

5. Bank Account Integration (Plaid)

Airmates offers flying clubs the ability to connect their bank account to automatically import transactions for bookkeeping. This integration is powered by Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”), a third-party financial data aggregator.

When you choose to connect a bank account, Plaid’s Link interface will collect your banking credentials directly — Airmates never sees or stores your bank login. Plaid then provides Airmates with an access token and transaction data (dates, amounts, descriptions, merchant names) for the account you authorize.

Airmates stores your Plaid access token in encrypted form and uses it solely to sync transaction history for your flying club’s books. You may disconnect your bank account at any time from the admin dashboard, which revokes Airmates’ access and deletes the token.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you cancel your account, your data is preserved for 30 days before deletion. You may request earlier deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email below, subject to legal and tax record-keeping requirements which may require us to retain certain financial records for up to 7 years.
